The Pantry
Your Local Pantry in Hodge Hill
Since April 2021

People from Open Door Community Foundation and Hodge Hill Church came together to host and run this pantry. During the Covid-19 pandemic, they both realised the enormity of food poverty in the community and the importance of people having access to good quality and affordable food. But also, just as importantly they realised the importance of access to community, friendship, and support.

Volunteers work tirelessly to make the Pantry happen. This all helps 30 to 40 households every week, providing a crucial boost with food and other supplies to over 100 people, and opening up a place of welcome and community.

For a small weekly subscription of £4, members of the Hodge Hill Pantry are able to purchase a weekly food shop including fresh fruit and vegetables and family favourites to stock up the cupboard and fridge.

To join or become a volunteer please visit the Pantry Website or pop along on Thursdays. Due to demand, we are only accepting members from the Bromford and Hodge Hill Ward, and you will need to bring a proof of address.
